On April 27, the Void Troops held their opening event, officially marking their debut into the community. VT managed to max an impressive 20 troops, showing early promise right from the start. The army is currently led by co-founders Logical and Kyle104, both of whom have already built established and successful army careers, further emphasizing signs of the army’s success from the very beginning.

VT has already established alliances with the Templars, clearly highlighting ideas of success in their mind. Additionally, the army has built up an experienced staff team, bringing in several new High Command members and staff who are already well-versed in the community, emphasizing future growth for the army in the small/medium sphere.

VT and Templar alliance announcement
Leaders Kyle104 and Logical have been memorable figures in the army community for quite some time. Logical began his career in 2022, briefly enlisting in the Secret Service before its shutdown. After a short time in the Templars, he joined the Special Weapons and Tactics and quickly rose to leadership. He later resigned from SWAT and went on to co-found the Penguins of Madagascar with Ryebread, leading the army through several wars before stepping down. After a brief break, he returned to lead the Secret Service until its merger into Doritos. He helped lead DCP to the Christmas Chaos XIV finals before retiring in February, showcasing strong leadership and deep knowledge throughout his journey.
Kyle104, however, has had a much longer army career, joining the community in 2012. Over the years, he has served as HCOM in numerous armies, including the Nachos, SWAT, Dark Warriors, Rebel Penguin Federation, Ice Warriors, Water Vikings, and even the Smart Penguins. With 13 years in the community, he also brings valuable leadership experience, having led the Teutons and previously served as a Templar Grand Prior. His extensive service across a wide range of armies highlights the depth and versatility of his experience.

Kyle104 and Logical leading a VT event together
To learn more about the army and its opening, Club Penguin Armies reached out to Void Troops leaders Kyle104 and Logical.
What motivated you to create the Void Troops?
Logical: The original plan was to revive PoM, but we decided against it. However, the team we had assembled still wanted to build something, so we chose to create our own army from scratch.
Kyle104: I knew Logical since 2022, back when I returned to CPA due to Ganger contacting me about SWAT. After knowing Logical for some time, we were going to revive POM, but it turned in another direction to where we made void troops.
Do you have any goals for this generation of VT?
Logical: Plans as of right now is to just have fun with it, anything that comes with that will be a bonus. Maybe in the future we will have a bigger plan for what we wanna do, but rn its have fun, grow a community, maybe war
Kyle104: Plenty.
Do you think the S/M presence in the community will change with VT?
Logical: Yes VT will be a very prominent army in the near future
Kyle104: If I’m being honest, this is the first time I’ve led an S/M army in years. My main goal is to prove everyone wrong and show why logical and I can make an army go number 1 but having fun while doing it.
The Void Troops have certainly entered the community with success in their sights. VT has seemingly burst onto the scene, aiming to make a strong impact on the S/M community. Whether they reach those heights remains to be seen; only time will tell. What do you think about the Void Troops? How will they fare within the army scene?
