Third place match recap
The weekend’s first match was on Saturday, April 5, when the Army of Club Penguin played the third-place match against Doritos of Club Penguin. Predictions had a 3⁄5 favor towards ACP, with Aucraia in the 2⁄5 minority that thought DCP would win, noting “Fire versus a bunch of grass”. DCP successfully won the battle by forcing a tie in every room, revealing the intense nature of this battle. However, during overtime, the Doritos were able to outperform their opponents, winning the room and the third-place trophy.

Grand Finals Match Recap
The second match of the weekend was the Grand Finals on Sunday, April 6, between Rebel Penguin Federation and Help Force. Predictions here were simply a unanimous ⁵/₅ that RPF was going to win. RPF successfully surpassed HF in terms of size (about 80 versus about 32) and battle performance. Given the size advantage was too overwhelming, the Rebels won all three rooms. Thus, the Rebel Penguin Federation won this battle and, thus, March Madness X.
Club Penguin Armies reached out to some other community members for their opinions on both battles:
What is your opinion on the March Madness X Grand Finals/Third-place match?
Cobra, Water Vikings leader: I was pretty much spot on for the outcome, so I am not surprised in the slightest. Glad they had such a good run 👍
Echo, Templars of Club Penguin leader: Yeah it was no surprise. The DCP vs ACP battle was super close and honestly a fun battle to watch while it lasted. As for HF and RPF I knew RPF had that in the bag tbf. DCP and RPF is a matchup that was really good on the end and RPF got another win for their belt. All in all it was a cool finals, but I wish to had seen a new army win the tournament.
Flypin1, Smart Penguins leader: I thought the battles were really interesting, more so the ACP/DCP one.
Ghostt, Scarlet Republic leader: Grand Finals: Honestly I thought that Help Force making it to the Grand Finals was kind of surprising. Not because I dont think they are a strong army but there was a lot of strong armies(like SR) that they had to face to get to the grand finals. But RPF winning was expected in the end although HFs performance was incredible overall. 3rd Place Match: It was very interesting to see that this was another battle between ACP and DCP so there was a lot of hype but in the end the battle was super close and to the point where either side could have won. I was hoping to see ACP win because they looked really good but unfortunately they lost by a tiny bit.
Loudlyam, Aliens of Club Penguin sixth in command: i mean i think that HF did great in the knowledge of how many they were with RPF, i dont really know what to tell you about the third place, i havent had time to follow up on this one. It was my first tournament, i’m so impressed by how many people went on battles all along tho, always so many that was impressive fr
Rye, Water Vikings leader: For the Grand Finals i was NOT expecting RPF to bring in 80+ troops for this battle, they pulled off some great forms and tactics, great job to them for winning and great job to Help Force for making it to the finals <3
For the Third Place Match, it was very back and forth, clearly both armies were at eachothers necks and going into overtime, It was a great watch and congrats to Doritos for winning the title.
With March Madness over, the army community again calms, but for how long? The server map just opened, so what does the future hold for armies? We again want to congratulate the Doritos of Club Penguin and the Rebel Penguin Federation for their victories. What did you think of March Madness? Who do you think will win next year’s March Madness? Do you agree with these opinions?
