On April 1, the Doritos faced the Templars in one of many practice battles that have happened recently. Let us see how the battle went down and who ended up winning.

The Doritos of Club Penguin have had a busy week, recently facing the Scarlet Republic and The Bastille Vanguard in a three-way practice battle. Additionally, they faced the Aliens in another battle on April 3. These battles were likely in preparation for their third-place match in the final battles of March Madness X. Their allies, the Templars, also took part in March Madness X, making it to the Quarter Finals before their elimination. They have had a busy week too, celebrating their anniversary and recently inducting Echo as their newest Emperor.
Cove – Doritos of Club Penguin
The Doritos started the battle, entering the room just before TCP. The armies quickly assumed an underlined plus formation together, where DCP’s tactics were seen covering TCP’s. The Templars moved out of this first with a waterfall that the Doritos successfully defended. After TCP formed an upside-down V, the Doritos covered them with a rake before combining with their allies to create an A formation. The size gap between the armies dropped at this point, with DCP’s initial 10-troop lead diminishing with sizes of 24-16. The armies moved again, initially forming an upside-down T and an arrow. Like the previous forms, however, the Templars combined with DCP to make an anchor. In the end, the Doritos won this room due to better coverage, faster tactics, and having more awake troops.

Docks – Doritos of Club Penguin
The second room of the battle was the closest fight between the armies. The Templars entered first, with most of their troops entering before DCP made an appearance. While TCP quickly made an upside-down T, Doritos covered their opponent with their entrance bomb. Following this, DCP made an X, which the judges described as messy. The sizes were 20-15, with the Doritos maintaining an advantage. While they had a slow start, DCP picked up the pace, dominating the second half of the room and appearing much larger than the Templars. Because of this, they were awarded the win for this room.

The final room had some differences from the previous room. This time, the Doritos entered first, with the Templars arriving later. Despite this, both armies made formations at the same time, with the Doritos changing their upside-down V to an A, while the Templars opted for a T formation. The Doritos were the superior force throughout the room, with an advantage of five troops. The judges also noted they had faster tactics and cleaner forms, which got DCP their third room win, though the judges initially awarded the battle’s win to the People’s Imperial Confederation as an April Fool’s joke.

Judge Villa announces the results
The battle served as a great practice for the two allies, and a way for them to strengthen their bonds. This was the second practice battle win the Doritos achieved in the past week, though they would lose to the Aliens in another battle on April 3. We will see if either armies have more plans to face each other again in the future. Which army were you rooting for? Do you agree with the results? Will there be even more practice battles soon?
