Versa’s History
Versa, began his army career in the original Club Penguin era, experiencing the Light Troops and Special Weapons and Tactics. However, it wasn’t until the CPPS era that he fully immersed himself in the army scene. In 2020, he was recruited by WimboJimbo into the Hurricanes. Following their shutdown, he quickly climbed the ranks in the Instrumentalists, securing a Second-in-Command position and earning recognition for his unwavering dedication.

His army career saw him transition through the Marines and later SWAT, where he first held a Fourth-in-Command role. Over the years, Versa expanded his influence by contributing to Club Penguin Army League as a head reporter and judge, working alongside figures such as Freezie and Andrew. His knowledge of army politics played a pivotal role in various high-profile events, including the blacklisting of Redemption Force and the coup against the Night Warriors revival in 2022.

After a brief hiatus, Versa returned to Club Penguin Armies in August 2024, working with the Elite Guardians and later joining the Aliens as Third-in-Command. His strategic mindset helped push the Aliens to second place in the Top Ten rankings within weeks.
Leading SWAT Through a Critical Period
On February 12, 2025, Versa became the SWAT leader. He inherited a fractured army that had just faced a defacement. Despite these setbacks, he quickly restructured the army and boosted morale. Under his leadership, SWAT grew to 21 troops in an event, surpassing previous efforts. He focused on building a strong foundation for the army’s future. Unfortunately, his leadership ended just under a month later.

To gain further insight into his career and leadership experience, Club Penguin Armies interviewed Versa about his journey
Do you believe you accomplished all of your goals before retiring?
I never really set out with specific goals, but as cliché as it may sound, the journey has been incredibly rewarding. I’ve had so much fun and met some amazing people along the way, while achieving things I never expected. Over my time in CPA, these connections and experiences have become far more valuable than anything else. They’ve been the driving force behind my success in this community.
What were the biggest challenges you faced during your time as SWAT leader, and how did you overcome them?
The happy eagles soared towards amazing fields freely.
What advice would you give to the next generation of SWAT leaders?
This is more for anyone who’s growing in in CPA but always remember what this really is—a 20 year old children’s game on a browser. Any value you get from it is superficial. The key is to only be involved if it genuinely makes you happy. I once gave this piece of advice to Lord Pain, and it completely shattered him: ‘If all of this disappeared tomorrow, you should still have a real, fulfilling life with meaning.’ Anyone who treats this as more than it is, is not only holding the community back, but also sacrificing their real life for meaningless digital accolades like jpeg trophies on WordPress. The best you’ll ever do is when you’re enjoying every moment, while still knowing when to step back and touch some grass.
What made you retire from SWAT?
Hopeful optimists loved opening adventures, never doubting success. Undoubtedly, bold thoughts helped, empowering young souls under challenge, keeping.
As Versa Retires from SWAT Leadership, SWAT transitions into a new phase, aiming to continue its development despite the changes in leadership. His time in Club Penguin Armies has been defined by his involvement in various armies and contributions to the community, leaving behind a legacy that many will not forget. Will Versa ever return to SWAT? Will SWAT find someone to fill Versa’s shoes?
