The Qualifiers had a total of five battles taking place last weekend. Unfortunately, the battle between the Rebel Penguin Federation and the Space Force was cancelled due to an invalid revival leading to the latter’s disqualification. This caused the Rebels to advance to the next round. The first battle was between The Bastille Vanguard and the People’s Imperial Confederation. The following battles included Aliens versus Smart Penguins and the Help Force against the Scarlet Republic on Saturday. Whereas the Templars went up against the Elite Guardians of Club Penguin and the Water Vikings battled the Special Weapons and Tactics on Sunday.

The Bastille Vanguard vs. People’s Imperial Confederation

The battle started with the Vanguards entering the room first with a total of 13 troops, while the Confederation had 4. The size of the Confederation went up to 5 later on in the battle. This caused the Vanguards to have an advantage as they could create bigger forms and stand out more. Even though they had a bigger size, they were seen to be a bit slow and not as awake. Despite the Confederation putting up a fight against the Vanguards, they stood no chance as they did not have the size to beat them. Therefore the Vanguards came out on top.

Winner – The Bastille Vanguard

Aliens vs. smart penguins

Throughout the battle, the chances of the Smart Penguins winning seemed small. The Aliens pulled up with 27, whereas SP only had a total of 3 penguins online. It was quite difficult for them to make forms, while the Aliens had no problems regarding this. However, the size of the Smart Penguins kept growing to a total of 8 in the last room. In the end, the size difference was too much for them to keep up with the Aliens. Overall SP were able to perform well, just like the Aliens, despite their size, but the Aliens progressed to the next round.

Winner – Aliens

Help Force vs. Scarlet Republic

Once again, this battle included quite a size difference of 14 troops. The Help Force had a total of 21, while the Scarlet Republic had 7. Both armies had their struggles with their forms, however, the Republic could not compete with the Help Force as their size was not enough. Throughout the rooms, the sizes stayed quite consistent. After the battle ended, it was deemed to be a Help Force victory as they dominated the room. Despite this, the Republic tried its best and did well with the size they had.

Winner – Help Force

Templars vs. Elite Guardians of Club Penguin

This battle was by far the closest one yet. The sizes were quite close and the armies seemed to challenge each other as the battle advanced. The Templars started with 19, while the Guardians had 17. The pace of the Templars seemed to be faster during the first room than the Guardians. However, EGCP picked up the pace later on and seemed to improve after the first room. The Templars had more messy forms, whereas the Guardians got covered more throughout the rooms. The battle eventually went into overtime as the armies seemed to battle equally against each other. In the end, the Templars came out as the strongest. The Guardians were seen to move too much and create messy formations, which hindered their performance in the end.

Winner – Templars

Water Vikings vs. Special Weapons and Tactics

The final battle between WV and SWAT was not as close as the last battle but included the highest max in the tournament so far from the Vikings. They maxed a total of 42, which SWAT was not able to match. Throughout this battle, the Vikings seemed to come off as stronger and did not give SWAT a chance to come back from this. Therefore, this battle ended with the Vikings moving on to the next round where they will face the Rebels. Still, SWAT tried their best against the Vikings and did not give up.

Now that Round One has finally come to an end, a total of five armies have won their battles against their opponents. Let us see what the future will bring to the armies in the Quarter Finals. There is no doubt the battles will get more difficult for the armies as the tournament advances. Which armies will advance next? Will the battles grow more exciting?
