March Madness X: Clover Conference Round One Predictions

As March begins, so does the annual March Madness Tournament. This Sunday, six armies battle it out for a spot in the Quarter Finals. Let us take a look at our penguin predictions for the Clover Conference.

For almost ten years, army leagues have hosted March Madness, a bracket-style tournament in which various armies compete for the Clover Trophy. This year, 14 armies are participating, with the Doritos of Club Penguin and the Army of Club Penguin in by default. This Sunday, the TemplarsElite Guardians, Water Vikings, and Special Weapons and Tactics will battle it out to claim a position in the Quarter-Finals taking place next weekend.

Club Penguin Armies interviewed a few members of the community to get their predictions on the results of these battles. Let us see what they had to say.

Templars vs. Elite Guardians

The Templars at a recent event

Templars and Guardians will compete this weekend for a position in the quarter-finals against ACP. With both armies placing very similarly on the weekly Top Tens, this could be anyone’s win. The Elite Guardians also participated in the recent Candy Crusher and we will soon find out if that gives them an advantage here.

BScharbach2, Doritos Leader: I think TCP decisively beats EGCP.

Lia, Doritos of Club Penguin: streets are saying TCP will probably win 2-1

Doopus, People’s Imperial Confederation: EGCP wins; little biased (big ups winged hussars 👑🪽) but honestly i feel egcp will pull their weight in this match against tcp 🙏
p.s.: tcp would’ve had a chance if they were named terances instead of templars 👍

Ghostt, Scarlet Republic Leader: I love EGCP but I also know what TCP is capable of. I think TCP will win 2-1-0 because I think EGCP is potentially capable of breaking even with even a formidable force like TCP.

Sebzy, Ice Warriors Leader: EGCP > tcp 2-1-0 – i think TCP is strong, but egcp has been doing better recently from what ive seen and they tend to pop off in tourneys

Rebel Penguin Federation vs. Space Force

RPF at the Candy Crusher Brawl last month

Note: The Space Force has now been disqualified from the tournament and this battle will no longer be taking place.

SF opened its doors less than a month ago and was anxious to make a name for themselves in their first tournament. RPF on the other hand is a major army that takes tournaments very seriously, managing to win last year’s Christmas Chaos XIV as well as the recent Candy Crusher Brawl.

BScharbach2, Doritos Leader: Space Force will achieve their ultimate conquest against the Rebels and Lukey will march on Tuxedo.

Lia, Doritos of Club Penguin: RPF 3-0 they lock in for tournaments bro

Doopus, People’s Imperial Confederation: RPF wins, no doubt. they’re like the khabib of cpa; you just dont hope that you aren’t fighting them. sorry sf but t_t has my family hostage and you guys don’t 🥀.

Ghostt, Scarlet Republic Leader: Is sf even in it?

Sebzy, Ice Warriors Leader: RPF > sf (wtf is sf) 3-0-0 – what is SF? Did I miss a DLC? Anyways RPF is basically the final boss of armies in 2025. BIA forever.

Water Vikings vs. Special Weapons and Tactics

SWAT at a recent event

Vikings and Agents have both had very close rankings on Top Tens in previous weeks, with WV being slightly higher each time. WV took part in the Candy Crusher Brawl last month and brought the trophy home for the Small/Medium sector. However, SWAT has been growing a lot recently so this could be a close one.

BScharBach2, Doritos Leader: I place much confidence in my blood cousin, Subzero. Gotta ride with him and pick SWAT. (we are actually related)

Lia, Doritos of Club Penguin: WV wins 1-0-2 they’ve been locked in and they like pokemon i believe in them

Doopus, People’s Imperial Confederation: i dont see swat winning this, just a WV victory, but as long as WV’s able to maintain their maxes and not underestimating swat (they only noshow to wars they know they’ll lose), they’re good.

Ghostt, Scarlet Republic Leader: After seeing how WV performed in CCB I think that WV wins 3-0-0. Although SWAT does seem to be looking pretty good lately so we will see what happens.

Sebzy, Ice Warriors Leader: WV > swat 2-0-1 – WV has the momentum, and SWAT needs something big to turn the tide.. haha get it?

According to the community’s predictions, most people seem to be leaning toward TCP, and WV. Despite that, this tournament is bound to be filled with surprises. Good luck to all armies participating! What do you think? Who will win March Madness X?
