This year, Club Penguin Armies successfully hosted the Candy Crusher tournament on February 15th, categorized into Small/Medium and Major armies. The champions of this tournament are the Water Vikings and the Rebel Penguin Federation respectively — congratulations to both armies for their outstanding performance! Now, let’s move forward and get insights from the army leaders about how they celebrated this wonderful holiday.
As to not waste any time, we will swiftly move on to the interviews.
What did your army do for Valentine’s Day?
Viv, one of the advisors of Doritos, made a lighthearted announcement for the Feast of St. Valentine, introducing a fun-themed tournament called Candy Crusher. However, the troops decided to celebrate the holiday among themselves, as Kira noted. Principally they shifted their focus to preparing for the upcoming Candy Crusher tournament!
Kira, DCP Leader: For valentines day DCP did a fun little announcement and hyped the fun vday themed tournament but mostly we let our troops celebrate the fun holiday amongst themselves!!

Lass noticed that the Elite Guardians do not celebrate St. Valentine’s Day due to differing cultures. They instead focused on assignments and prepared for the Candy Crusher tournament.
Lass, EGCP Leader: It is not a holiday most of us usually celebrate, as it is not present in our majority of members’ cultural backgrounds, and we had our focus on other assignments for the week. So we pretty much ended up doing nothing for it, but Happy Valentines to all people who celebrate it.

The People’s Imperial Confederation held an early morning AUSIA event, although attendance was low due to member availability. As noted by Scars, they competed in the recent Candy Crusher tournament, finishing in third place.
Scars, PIC Leader: For Valentine’s Day we relaxed and enjoyed ourselves! Besides an early morning ausia, we didn’t do much since I’m sure many were busy and such. Aside from that in the Valentine spirit, we competed in the Candy Crusher Brawl where we came in third!!

Billy Bawb, one of the 3 main leaders of Templars said that the Templars did not host an event on Valentine’s Day and mostly decided to chill out and interact with people in the main chat. Notably, TCP did not partake in the Candy Crusher event, one of the only armies to do so.
Billy Bawb, TCP Grand Prior: We didn’t do much. We didn’t have an event so everyone could hang out with their Valentine. Otherwise, most people talked in the Discord.
The Smart Penguins, who started the day early and were well-prepared, were at AUSIA for a Candy Crusher tournament. They played hard and were successful, with five penguins getting to the end, which Flypin recently noted.
Flypin, Smart Penguins Leader: Well on the day of we had an ausia Freeland invasion in the morning, and the next day we participated in the candy crusher brawl.

In conclusion, it is clear all armies that although all armies celebrated the holiday differently, they all managed to enjoy it. But what do you think? How did you spend your Valentine’s Day? What did you think of the tournament? Be sure to let us know.
