Since the beginning of the armies, the community has seen a multitude of wars take place. However, not all of us were here to witness them. In this post, we will ask community members what war they would like to experience first-hand if they could choose any.
Armies within the community have been no stranger to wars over the years. However, most of the wars that have taken place have not been witnessed or experienced by members of the current-day army community. Yet, the stories of the past are often retold throughout the media. This is done so that the new generation of community members can learn what came before them. Additionally, it further cements the wars and the armies in history.
Often, pieces of information and media are lost, never to be recovered. Stories of the past being threaded through the current generation’s media ensures that if anything was to happen to websites from the past, the stories still have a home. Thus, even though many may not have witnessed or experienced past wars or the generations which came before them, they may still be knowledgable about them.
Alongside discussions of previous wars, there have been numerous discussions about specific armies (and generations of armies). These are often fueled by veterans recalling nostalgic moments. The conversations can also lead to debate regarding which generation or army was better. If there was a way to see which generation of an army (or armies) was better then would they choose to experience a war between those two? Perhaps they would rather go back and experience a war that actually happened instead? As for the current generation, would they want to experience a war that took place in the past? Or would they want to experience what it would be like as a Leader or High Commanding member of a current-day army to go up against another in war?
Club Penguin Armies approached several members of the community to find out what war they would like to experience first-hand.
Flypin1, Smart Penguins: I’m gonna say the last world war, because it wouldve been ####### awesome to see that happen and i hope there’s another one soon lowkey
Bryce: Probably the nachos-acp war in 2012. It was before I got involved with the nachos and I’ve heard a lot about it. I’d love to witness it firsthand
Riri, Doritos of Club Penguin: I think the autumn tundra war would’ve been exciting to be a part of, although it was a long one it seemed like something I would’ve loved to be involved in and a nice experience :))
Aleksandr, Help Force: If I’ve wanted to experience any war as Leader/HCOM, that would be the ACP vs EGCP war(Centenary Solstice War) because this was a great war to show your skills as a Leader/HCOM of an army. Also, in a war you could learn about how to manage your battles to be a success, prepare the HCOM/Staff on showing how to lead to be sure that the next generation will carry the army as I did.
Mark0600: Hm, thats a hard question honestly. But I think if I had to pick just one might be the first war I attended like knowing what i was doing? It was ACP vs DW but im not sure which year either 2013 or 14. I’d honestly love to relive it as a troop or hcom.
Stevos, Rebel Penguin Federation: I would have to say the color wars, back in 2006! The way events/battles were was so different to how they are now with fast tactics, formations. Its funny to log on, just to see a bunch of unorganized penguins, with the same color throw snowballs at each other. You can really tell how much CPA evolved over time!
The answers from each of the community members are varied. Each member has a different war they would like to experience. With each war comes a different reason. Mark, for example, wishes to relive a moment which he once experienced. However, some others wish to experience a war which they were not apart of. Each person will have a different war or dream scenario which they would like to experience. But being able to experience these wars is a different thing.
Perhaps one day they will be able to experience something similar? Or perhaps these dreams will remain as just that – dreams. No matter what happens, the present-day generation will surely experience a war which future generations will look back on. What war would you like to experience? What would be your dream scenario?
