In the early hours of February 6, Special Weapons and Tactics members noticed channels and users disappearing from their servers. This immediately drew attention from the CPA community and SWAT’s leadership. Speculation quickly arose about the identity of the culprit. Some pointed to Scars, others to Mare, but it was later revealed that former leader Kyle104 was behind the defacement. This revelation shocked the community, as Kyle104 had once been a key figure in SWAT
SWAT Rebuilding their Discord
The defacement disrupted SWAT’s operations, forcing the army to halt activities while they restored the server channels. It also paused the ongoing war with the People’s Imperial Confederation, leaving both armies uncertain. The defacement caused logistical challenges and affected the morale of SWAT’s leadership, advisors, and troops. Despite this, the leadership quickly regrouped and focused on rebuilding the server.
SWAT Rebuilds with New Leadership
Although many believed the war with PIC would end after the defacement, SWAT’s determination proved otherwise. Although the army was temporarily halted, it did not let the defacement break its spirit. As it rebuilt its server, it continued the fight against PIC, demonstrating the resilience of SWAT’s leadership.
SWAT solidified its leadership further when Versa was inducted as the newest leader after the server was restored. This move was crucial in continuing the army’s recovery and restoring full operational strength.

Versa first joined Club Penguin Armies during the original game version, encountering iconic armies like SWAT and the Light Troops. At first, he was confused by the community’s dynamics. However, his true journey began in early 2020 when he discovered WimboJimbo and the Hurricanes of Club Penguin Online during an event. This led him to join the Club Penguin Online Army League, where he built valuable connections with influential figures within the community.
During his time in CPOAL, Versa became a SWAT staff member, forming lasting friendships with leaders, including SCargo2. Over the years, he stayed connected with former staff members and remained involved in the community. In December 2024, after coming out of retirement to join the Aliens, Versa was contacted by Lego to return to SWAT, marking her return to leadership. Since then, he has been vital to SWAT’s recovery and revitalization.

What factors influenced your decision to deface SWAT?
I kept getting called transphobic, homophobic and racial slurs while in the leadership and seeing how shit the leadership was I think I did SWAT a favor. Subzero and Holo should focus on raising their children instead of trying to revive a army they had no business getting involved into. SWAT also would talk about troop-stealing members. LEGO and Clade don’t deserve any respect.
Do you believe that SWAT has the potential to recover from this incident?
No. SWAT had a chance back when logical was under leadership then they fumbled that, they also failed to lead krill who was super loyal to the army, then they fumbled both me and Zuke’s plans. To me they are done and they should just close down instead of running laps around gangers legacy.
Is there anything you’d like to say to SWAT or the community?
Although my CPA roots started from SWAT. I lost respect for the army as ganger allows transphobic leaders to run the army. Holo and Subzero you are in your mid-late twenties running a club penguin army. Do you not feel embarrassed? Members of SWAT and the CPA Community, unless LEGOMAN deassociates himself with SWAT i would recommend not being in the army or supporting it.
