Pirate Return

After a six-month shutdown, the Dark Pirates returned to the community. Shrekkks and Tide hosted their recent revival event, “Ninja’s Late Birthday,” on December 27. The pirates are not an unfamiliar face within the community, considering they opened their doors on April 10, 2023, with their founders, Ninja Leader and Tide. Since then, they have experienced various shutdowns, merges, and re-openings, making it quite a road with ups and downs. The Dark Pirates also welcomed a new commander to their ranks: Yellow Typer which marked a pivotal moment in the army’s history.

DPC’s Openings Event

Not even a month after their return, the People’s Imperial Confederation declared war on January 15th. As mentioned in the declaration post, the war is rather meant to be fun than an actual situation or reason leading up to this. In the war terms mentioned below, they stated that “the Pirate Purge Campaign” is a mapless battle with allies, visitors & dual enlists being allowed.

PIC vs. DPC War Terms

There has only been a single battle since the war started. Due to the Pirates’ failure to meet the bare minimum, the Confederation prevailed. We will undoubtedly hear from them again in the future, though. This week, there will be more clashes, including ones on Wednesday and Friday. There will be a lot of competition and excitement between the two armies as a result.

First War Battle Between PIC and DPC

To understand both perspectives of the war, Club Penguin Armies reached out to Scars and Yellow Typer to interview them.

What are your expectations of this war?

Scars: I expect both DPC and PIC to be at their very best when battling. I hope it’s close and that in the end we can see a PICtory.

Yellowtyper: I expect this to be a very close war with clean battles and at the end of this series, we stay respecting each other

Seen as this is a fun war between both armies, how long do you expect this war to last?

Scars: I don’t expect it to last long as it is for fun; but, we’ll see where it goes. I hope both armies use this time for good practice and growth.

Yellowtyper: Based on the rules, since both dpc and pic are known as armies that wouldn’t give up, this war will probably go on for a couple of months

Are there any aspects that you are planning to improve on during the war?</strong>

Scars: Definitely on being less sloppy. I noticed that we our forms could’ve been better. Aside from that, we can always be faster and max higher.

Yellowtyper: Not as I know of right now. Since this is a mapless war, we plan on going on an recruiting season to have help during this war.

How are you planning to prepare for the upcoming battles?

Scars: Gonna be doing lots of training and recruiting. We want newer troops to experience battles as it’s very good practice for getting the hang of things.

Yellowtyper: I schedule training events based off of battles for example, our next battle is Wednesday at 8 AM i set a training event for that time

With the confrontation still going on, both armies seem to have plans to improve within their army. Since the clash has just started, we can not say how it will turn out, making it even more fun to watch. What do you think? Who will come out on top? How long will this last?
