The Water Vikings certainly had a very eventful year. After a successful Beach Brawl IV in September, making it to the semi-finals in the Legends Cup XIV, and winning the Third Eagre Foray War against the Special Weapons and Tactics, this anniversary celebration was highly anticipated by all.

In October this year, WV also participated in the Project Conquest: Blood Bowl tournament, and, although they did not win, they made the most of the experience. Moreover, earlier this month, they hosted their Winter Week, a themed week during which the Vikings could participate in various activities.

The Vikings celebrated the festive season with a fun-themed week from the 15th to the 21st of December. They had a couple of fun events, such as a Fashion Show with the Help Force and a battle between their divisions, Arctic and Marine. This themed week also consisted of fun activities like a movie night and a Kahoot!

Aside from these wonderful events, the Vikings have undoubtedly made the most of this year, showcasing impressive dedication and determination. Their performance has been exceptional, earning them well-deserved recognition within the community. Time and again, they have demonstrated their ability to rise to the occasion, and their hard work has paid off in significant ways. Not only have they maintained a consistent presence in key events, but they have also achieved the remarkable feat of securing a spot in the Top Ten rankings on multiple occasions. Therefore, this consistent success speaks volumes about their commitment to growth, teamwork, and excellence, making their achievements truly something to be proud of.

Thus, to celebrate this momentous occasion, the Water Vikings held an event on December 28. The Vikings brought in a surprising amount of 57 troops online.

Club Penguin Armies reached out to WV leader Claire to find out more about the army’s plans.

What did you think of the anniversary event?

It was certainly huge as we wished it to be! High numbers, really big and fun event, special one I must say and the awards were a important part of it too. I think it was incredible and that’s always on HCOV, leaders, HCOM and staff team that put a lot of effort for it to happen. Also our troops were amazing and I can’t forget them at all. WV certainly deserved a massive anniversary event like this!

How do you feel about WV’s growth in these 14 years?

There were big changes during these 14 years for sure! WV is an old army but also a new one if you consider the CPPS era (which is where I’m from), because it changed a lot the way the community and other armies work. We have a lot of members as of troops and even staff/HCOM being from this new era and I must say it’s been a challenge for us to keep the legacy that our legendary veterans have build during this 14 years. We have been working really hard to make the army great as we see it, during these 14 years and during my 4 years of service in here I have seen the potential WV has to be even better than it is now and that’s what we are going to show to the community. Our growth has been good and we are going to make it exponential!

Is there a memory of a WV event that impacted you?

There’s been so many core memories during this whole time I’m here, I’ve seen a lot of retirements, wars, tournaments, fun events, awards, I can’t even pick up just one! But for sure one thing I’m going to keep in my heart is when we work all together with a purpose, either being winning a tournament, fighting a war, celebrating something like our 14th anniversary, those moments where we are bonding and making this army a family is what made me stay this whole time in here and those are my favorite memories in WV!

This event has been a huge success for the army. We hope to see more from them in the coming year! What do you think the future holds for WV?
