Overworked And Underpaid: BEASTO

In Overworked And Underpaid, we aim to interview designers, get to know more of them, and have them share their journey and design advice. Today we talked with one of CPA’s Graphic Designers, BEASTO.

Designed by Cassie

BEASTO became interested in arts around 4 years ago, but he was not a designer then. He mostly followed many social media pages that inspired him to get more creative with his work. After newly joining the Help Force – an army with many artists – he learned from them and was able to hone his skills and begin his journey as a designer.

Beasto started designing for Club Penguin Armies in 2023 before taking a break and returning after the Legends Cup XIV this year. Since then, he has designed multiple thumbnails for posts, trophies for the Army of Club Penguin, and various artworks for his current army, the Help Force.

A QUICK CHAT WITH BEASTO

We sat down with Beasto to learn more about his time as a graphic designer.

Could you tell us more about how you learned to use virtual designing software?

I mostly learned from YouTube, many videos gave me the basics and I learned with practice

What about your job as a CPA graphic designer? What do you like about it and in which aspect is it challenging?

i think i like to take multiple assignments at once to make it a challenge for myself becuz each thumbnail proves to be easy

Looking ahead, what are your goals or aspirations within the realm of graphic design, both within and beyond the CPA community?

this might sound lame but i got no goals rn within this “realm” lol, maybe learning more if i could

Lastly, what advice would you give to someone who is aspiring to become a designer like you?

watch videos on how to do stuff and then practice them, it will become easier the more u do

Exploring the creative journeys of our talented designers is truly inspiring. We hope that getting a closer look at Beasto’s artistic talents has ignited your interest in design and creativity. Thank you, Beasto, for your hard work and contributions to CPA—we wish you all the best as you continue your journey as an exceptional designer! Are you going to give graphic design a try? Who would you like us to interview next?
