On December 26, Billy Bawb, a member of Templars High Command was promoted to Grand Prior. This follows a series of achievements and events reflecting his dedication and commitment to the army.
Billy Bawb’s beginnings
Billy Bawb joined Templars in June 2024, he was noted for his hard work ethic and consistency in attending events. This led to Billy being promoted to Staff in TCP, on June 27. It was during his time as a staff member that Billy was noted for being a capable recruiter. Following his continued dedication to the Templars, he was promoted to High Command with the rank of Third-in-Command in September. Only a month later, he would be again promoted, this time to replace Mark0600, who had recently left TCP, gaining his rank of Leader-in-Training. He stayed at this rank until December 26, being given the rank of Grand Prior, or First-in-Command.
Outside his Templars campaign, Billy has led two other armies in his army career. The first of these armies is the Nether Knights. This army was welcomed to the community on September 12, with xDemon, Zez and Billy leading. The Knights formed several alliances with other armies, including Scars of Club Penguin and Church of Aurora. However, on October 8, both Billy and Zez left NKCP, and sole leader xDemon announced the army’s closure.
The next army under Billy’s leadership was the Phantom Republic. They re-opened their doors on October 25. Only two days later, on October 27, PRCP declared war on the newly revived Rebel Alliance Commando. This came as a shock to the community, but PRCP declared war due to suspicious RAC was intending to declare war on them. The war lasted just over a week, with the PRCP surrendering on November 2. On the same day, leaders Zez and xDemon resigned. Four days later, leaders Maguro and Billy Bawb announced the army’s closure.

RETIREMENT
The announcement of Billy being promoted to leader comes after the retirement of Grand Prior, Maguro. This left a hole in TCP leadership, which was filled by Billy. A well-deserved promotion to leader follows a long period of dedication to solely the Templars. BB has been heavily involved in Templars, especially during their unfortunately short-lived Christmas Chaos XIV involvement. Billy states he hopes to “make Templars great again”.

Was this promotion expected?
I knew it was going to happen soon but when it happened i did not see it coming.
What do you hope to achieve as a leader?
What i hope do Achieve is help Templars get number 1 in tt in 2025 and over all have fun.
Where do you see yourself in 6 months?
I don’t really know where i see my self in 6 months.

Billy since he joined always showed potential. I remember the day he joined and created his CPAB account and from then I decided to just pick him out of hundreds of recruits to just work on him and make him one of the best leaders in this generation of CPA. He certainly has lived up to my expectations and has done a lot more than what I’ve asked of him many of which I never even asked for. He is self-driven, and has a passion for this hobby unlike what I’ve seen from others. Billy had a rather quick rise to leadership but myself and literally every single HCOM I talked to as well as every single leader in TCP agreed that he deserves to lead this army now more than ever before. Billy was my first of many that will carry my legacy and the legacy of the people that trained me when I was in his position. I have no doubt in my mind that he will continue to grow as a person, and as a leader.
To conclude, it is clear to see that there are high expectations for Billy Bawb. But will he live up to them? Will he help Templars rise to greatness once more? Will TCP thrive under his command? Might he end up a legend of the army? We are yet to find out, we at Club Penguin Armies are sure that Billy will achieve great things.
