The top four teams continue to dominate throughout the Christmas Chaos XIV tournament, as they finish their semifinal battles. Let us see who progressed to the Grand Finals, now having a chance to win the tournament.
Army of Club Penguin Vs. Doritos of Club Penguin
The Army of Club Penguin went against their rivals, the Doritos of Club Penguin, in an exciting battle for decades. Both armies were overwhelming in size, with DCP having 80+ and ACP 70+ in the warm-up rooms. However, only one force could prevail.
In the first two rooms, DCP and ACP competed closely, resulting in ties. In Room 1, DCP entered first and formed a triangle with a vertical, while ACP adopted an arrow formation. Despite heavy bombing exchanges, the battle remained balanced, with both armies showcasing formations that were difficult to decipher, ultimately leading to an even outcome. In Room 2, DCP maintained the size advantage and demonstrated strategic formations like a circle and an X, while ACP primarily reused an arrow formation. Although DCP’s tactics were slower, they managed to cover ACP effectively, resulting in another tie.
In Room 3, ACP entered first, forming a triangle with a vertical, but they were heavily covered by DCP, who held both a size advantage and cleaner formations. ACP’s attempts to counter with bombs and formation changes were less effective due to execution issues, allowing DCP to dominate. As a result, DCP secured a clear victory in Room 3, breaking the tie from the previous rounds.
Winner: Doritos of Club Penguin
Aliens vs. rebel Penguin Federation
For the first time, the Rebel Penguin Federation and the Aliens fought against each other in a tournament. This element of surprise did leave the community intrigued, considering Aliens’ shocking performance in the last round.
To start, both armies gathered in Docks, to which RPF arrived first. Both armies had good formations but RPF made better choices. The judges highlighted that both armies changed formations whenever they were at a disadvantage, which showcased a sense of strategy from both armies’ leaders. Nonetheless, the Aliens were not consistent throughout the battle in all rooms. The RPF managed to gain a win in the first and last rooms because of the size advantage and better formations. Room two, however, revealed the close nature of this battle, leading to a tie. Thus, the score was 2-1-0 [W-T-L] in favor of RPF.
Winner: Rebel Penguin Federation
This year’s Christmas Chaos is very exciting, with armies making their way towards greatness. We now wait for the Grand final between RPF and DCP this weekend. Good luck to both armies! Who do you think will win?
