With the Christmas Chaos XIV Tournament Qualifiers right around the corner, we see four armies battling to progress to round two this weekend! Let us see who the community chose as their predictions for the Qualifiers.
Christmas Chaos XIV is filled with loads of fun and exciting battles with several armies battling out this weekend to progress to round two and hopefully exceed expectations. It is time to see what the community predicts about the Qualifiers. This will be the first time all armies involved will face against one another in a tournament, making the result even more unclear.
Fire Vikings vs. People’s Imperial Confederation
Fire Vikings and People’s Imperial Confederation are meeting for the first time in CC XIV in the current era with the Vikings recently gaining strength and are planning to gain a higher position within the community with PIC trying to do the same, after a hiatus. Given this is a battle between two Small/Medium armies the result is a bit hard to predict.
Beasto, Help Force Leader: PIC v FV: 3 – 0 – 0 PIC. Easy win for PIC
Riri, Reporter-in-Training: PIC win. Fire Vikings is a new army so their maxes won’t be as good as PIC’s. Also, PIC just got a new set of leaders who are ready to push the army to victory, I don’t really think FV stand a chance against that.
Fuzzhead4, Aliens Leader: PIC win. I think PIC will win over Fire Vikings because PIC has participated in many tournaments in the past. I see them stronger battle wise and the Vikings is relatively very new in the community.
Edu14463, Editor-in-Chief: PIC is a more seasoned army and their leadership (all praise Scars) is very experienced, so I’d say they have higher odds this time. However, I’m expecting a close fight, as FV can’t be underestimated.
Special Weapons and Tactics vs. Bastille Vanguard
The Special Weapons and Tactics and the Bastille Vanguard are two armies that are not very strong in size, with the Vanguard being a new competitor within CC. Nonetheless, the Vanguard has been performing better than the Agents. SWAT has some good past experience and can gain the edge, however, you never know an upset might just happen. Let us hear what a few of the community think.
Beasto, Help Force Leader: Overtime Room SWAT win. Tough battle but I think SWAT will be able to gain victory.
Riri, Reporter-in-Training: SWAT Win. SWAT’s been around longer, more members and BV is a new army, I highly doubt they’ve had enough time to get enough troops to beat SWAT in a battle. Either way, SWAT’s also not as good as they used to be rn so it could go either way but I’m favouring SWAT (despite their ACP hatred)
Fuzzhead4, Aliens Leader: SWAT Win. SWAT will win over TBV because I have faith on SWAT and they have been training a lot for Christmas chaos.
Edu14463, Editor-in-Chief: BV will easily win this battle in a 3-0 sweep. Even if they happen to have less size than SWAT at that battle, I believe they have the capacity to beat the Agents. Everyone who is in BV right now were my troops in EGCP and were properly trained by us on how to lead and manage an army. I trust they will honor our legacy.
WINGED HUSSARS VS. TEMPLARS OF CP
Winged Hussars vs. Templars is a very interesting battle with both armies having similar sizes, after TCP dropped to S/M. Both armies are also able to execute their tactics well. Furthermore, WH are the newly crowned S/M Project Conquest winners so the community is expecting nice results from them. TCP has the chance to progress as an army and defeat the Hussars. Let us see what the community thinks.
Beasto, Help Force Leader: 3 – 0 – 0 TCP. Easy win for TCP.
Riri, Reporter-in-Training: WH Win. For WH vs TCP, I think it could go either way. WH are our allies and I’ve seen them in battle, they can max really well and they even managed to win for s/m in Project Conquest. TCP have okay maxes for s/m too, so either army has a shot, if I had to pick I’d choose WH though (totally not favouring rn)
Fuzzhead4, Aliens Leader: TCP Win. It is very hard for me to decide between TCP and WH , but I think TCP would win That is just my intuition lol.
Edu14463, Editor-in-Chief: This one will be very interesting. Since Xing is now back around to support TCP, the army’s sizes will see a significant increase, and this would pose a challenge for WH to overcome. Both armies are extremely capable in terms of battle expertise; so it all comes down to sizes. Thus, I think TCP has higher odds this time. If Xing was not around, I’d confidently say WH would win.
From the responses above, we can see that the predictions are leaning towards PIC, SWAT, and Templars. However, the second battle will be the closest battle if both armies have a good size and can execute their tactics to perfection. Nonetheless, make sure to keep an eye on these battles. Do you think FV can pull their first win of CC? Will SWAT and BV be able to end the fight in normal time? Do you believe WH can show TCP who the boss is? What are YOUR predictions for this round?
