Club Penguin Armies is excited to announce revitalizing updates to our content lineup. Starting next week, we will be retiring several existing columns and launching fresh ones to our schedule, aiming to sustain engagement within the community.
Club Penguin Armies‘ media department has been consistently hitting new milestones, as well as fastly providing news and entertainment for our community. With a seasoned team of editors and skilled reporters on board, we now strive to accomplish more than we already have, in hopes of innovating and keeping the community captivated.
Therefore, we have been exploring ways to make our media more dynamic and engaging. This effort has involved carefully reviewing our content and gathering valuable feedback from the community. While some columns have been highly successful, others have seen less interaction. Taking this into consideration, the administration and the editors decided to discontinue two columns and introduce a whole new set.
Starting next week, we will be discontinuing Army Rivalries and CPA Ice Breakers. We realized that both columns could be technically merged into two already existing ones, considering their similarity in purpose: Picture Perfect and Memorable Moments, respectively, with these last two still continuing to be part of our schedule. Ultimately, we realized that the now discontinued columns did not catch the community’s attention and were not entertaining our readers. Thus, we figured it would not be fruitful to keep releasing these.
In place of the two columns that we have discontinued, we are excited to introduce three new ones.
1. OVERWORKED AND UNDERPAID
The first column we are introducing is Overworked and Underpaid. As the name suggests, an edition of this column will be centered around our dear graphic designers. This suggestion was originally sent by Zamb. We are aware the community, right now, faces a shortage of designers. Thus, to value the work of our dearest, this column aims to interview designers, every two weeks, get to know more of them, and have them share pieces of advice and a guide on designing. We hope that his column inspires you to become one!
2. This day in history
We are also excited to bring in a brand new type of column. With This Day in History, we aim to highlight notable events that occurred on the same date in previous years. It brings readers a snapshot of historical moments, from significant milestones and breakthroughs to memorable occurrences in the army community. Thus, by connecting today with the past, the column offers a brief perspective on how certain events shaped history, sparking curiosity about how our community was built.
3. undercover troop
Now debuting in Club Penguin Armies, Undercover Troop saw its first editions being released in Club Penguin Army Central in 2014, seeing a continuation in Club Penguin Armies Media in 2020. In this column, reporters, editors, or administrators will go undercover to learn how armies operate from the inside and how their leaders will deal with some intriguing situations. Excited to see that?
We believe these updates will not only foster greater engagement from the community but also make sure we are continuously striving for success and innovation. Nonetheless, while columns are not a new concept for us, we are excited to take this next step forward in enriching our content. Thus, we thank you, dear reader, for always relying on CPA and supporting our team. Are you excited to read the first edition of each new column?
