After 28 days of conflict between the Elite Guardians and the Winged Hussars, a treaty has been signed between the two factions. Let’s explore the factors that led to this conflict between the two brother allies.
war background
On September 2, 2024, the Winged Hussars declared war on their brother ally, the Elite Guardians of Club Penguin. After transferring two servers to them, Hussar’s leader, Shinzo, appeared to accuse the Guardians of secret plans to attack them. Shinzo later clarified that the post referred to the Templars, the Hussars’ former adversary. In an interview, Shinzo stated that the war was a tactical effort to protect their lands.
Invasion of Thermal
On September 7, 2024. The Elite Guardians decided to invade Thermal, one of the Hussars’ servers. The Guardians gathered a size of 21 penguins while the Hussars had a size of 8 during the battle.
Due to their large size advantage, the Guardians won the battle and took Thermal after the first war battle. The Hussars later took it back on September 13, when the Elite Guardians did not show up.
Invasion of Xat
On September 10, 2024, the Elite Guardians decided to invade another of WH’s servers, Xat. It was a US event. The Huassars managed to max 9 penguins during this invasion, a lot smaller than the Guardians’ size of 21. The Hussars reclaimed this server as well on September 17th, when the Guardians did not show up.
INVASION OF THERMAL (the second invasion)
On September 27, the Guardians decided to invade the Hussars again by attempting to take Thermal. The invasion was scheduled to take place at 9:00 am Eastern Standard Time during the AUSIA hours. The Hussars maxed 9 at their AUSIA event, while EGCP maxed 5, creating a 3 penguin size difference.
Treaty of Brotherhood
On September 30th, Shinzo, the leader of the Hussars, decided to end the war by creating a treaty between the Guardians and the Hussars. The treaty stated that the Hussars won the war since EGCP had lost all of their land.
Now that the treaty is in place, the war has officially been concluded between the brother allies, with the Hussars maintaining their large empire.
Club Penguin Armies reached out to the leaders from WH and EGCP to find out how they viewed the war.
What were your thoughts on the war? Did you find it enjoyable?
Snork, Winged Hussars Monarch: It was something we deemed necessary at the time, for reasons that aren’t hard to figure out. it ended up being a great way for us to test our strength against each other, and we each got a win in a proper battle. EGCP are our dear allies so of course there are no hard feelings as a result of the war. I guess it was an opportunity to F- Around some more, as some say we do. Very enjoyable! Our troops have had a lot of fun with this war, and we’re energized for Project Conquest!
Fitsuki, EGCP Leader: It was a fun war. Furthermore, we have many members who have recently joined us. I believe this war was important to train them.
Now that the war has ended, the Hussars are no longer protected from invasions. Despite this, the recent Project Conquest: Blood Bowl tournament will prevent any invasions in the near future. What do you think will happen next? Will the brother allies go to war again? Will the Hussars maintain their empire?
