The community is now one army larger as the Nether Knights march in. We will see what the offshoot of Templars has in store for Club Penguin Armies.
On September 12, xDemon, Captain of the Templars of Club Penguin, created the server for a brand new army, the Nether Knights. By appointing Templars 3ic, Billybob to serve as leader alongside him, and multiple other Templars in their HCOM and Moderator positions, the Knights’ links are clear. Just one day after the army’s creation, they held their opening event and maxed out 10 with little trouble. From this, they registered shortly afterward.
They aren’t the only new army acting as a Templars colony. The Brownie4s of Club Penguin, founded by namesake Brownpen4, and Mark060 also registered this month, already causing a stir within the community. Shortly after their formation, they declared war on the Spartans of Club Penguin but lost it due to broken terms. The crop of new armies raises questions about whether members inspire each other, act on their own ambitions, or have deeper plans for the future.
The Nether Knights have been busy since their registration, earning themselves a spot in the Top Ten in 15th place. They’ve also been keen to get to know their fellow armies. On September 15, Billybob announced that they had allied with Scars of Club Penguin, and the Church of Aurora. The Small/Medium army community has seen many conflicts recently with armies such as Brownie4s, Scars, Spartans, Winged Hussars, and Special Weapons and Tactics, so it is possible a new player in the game can shake things up some more.
Club Penguin Armies has secured an interview with leader and founder, xDemon to discuss his goals for the new army.
What are you hoping for with the Nether Knights’ relationship with Templars?
well with the templars. This is a joke army atm and its based on templars troops and techniques so i expect us to have a very close relationship with templars, as we are a templars colony
What will the Nether Knights be aiming to achieve in the coming weeks?
nkcp is a relatively new army so we’re just aiming to max around 5-10+ for events in the coming weeks, along with hopefully gaining some members
Do you have any advice for members of CPA looking to start a brand new army?
and any cpa members looking to start a new army, just focus on recruiting, and have trustable staff who can mange the server and register recruits
With modest goals to start with, and sound advice, we are looking forward to seeing the army grow. Will the Templars keep gaining new colonies? Are the Nether Knights going to start rising the ranks on the Top Ten?
