Often, within the army community, gossip and drama can be missed by the media if it is not “news”. In this post, we will jump into the community and ask members “What’s the buzz?”.

Over the past few months, the community has seen multiple wars occur. Most recently, the Brownie4s of Club Penguin took on Spartans of Club Penguin in a short war. Despite the war being short, drama came out of it as a multilogging scandal was uncovered. Outside of wars, the community has seen army scandals occur with leaders being removed, drama between army members and arguments continuing to take place in Club Penguin Armies‘ main chat.
While CPA has a duty to report on news, many people may miss out on juicy drama and new things taking place within the community. Therefore, Club Penguin Armies approached multiple community members to find out ‘What’s the buzz?’. Whilst asking community members this question, we provided them with the opportunity to remain anonymous. This allows people to discuss what may be going on within the community without feeling pressured.
Anonymous 1: More conflict on the horizon
It seems like a new clash is set to take place within the community. While little information has been given, we can assume that rumour central has heard about an upcoming war or drama set to happen. For now, we can only speculate. Will we see familiar rivals face off against each other? Or perhaps someone new?
Armies battling
Anonymous 2: Within the walls, there’s been a noticeable change after a Former Leader departed from the army. Now, the army has now become half of it’s worth, the current leaders are fine but aren’t as remarkable as X (Leader). So there was a serious talk among certain people about the professionalism of the current leaders. There is not much internal rumors nor gossip, but only a few kid-like behaviour. There was also a talk about how faithless it was for X and Y (not the same X’s and Y’s) to leave WV as they were people with responsibility within WV, and to join an army that had opened up, X and Y leaving without second guessing was found false-hearted by a few.
It seems that there has been trouble within the Water Vikings. We can only assume that they are talking about Dino‘s departure at the start of the paragraph. Yet, what is uncertain is who the other X and Y is. Despite that, it’s clear that rumours are spiralling about what may be going on within the Vikings’ army. While the army dropped from Major to Small/Medium status earlier in the year, the army seems to be stabilising. Recently, the Vikings won the Beach Brawl IV and seem to be on the up. However, with this rumour in mind, can the army ride its momentum? Will the leadership be able to thrive during this chaotic time?

Logical, Secret Service: Me and Joel have become the new Emperors Of TCP after taking their empire, Echo is also my son now.
The war between Templars and Secret Service was a heated topic within the community. Yet, when the war ended with the Templars surrendering, it shocked many people. A force treaty was created at the end of the war to make sure any hostilities between the two armies ceased. Now that the war is over, both armies have had peaceful times. Ultimately, this statement is a joke but it does bring into question the relationship between the two armies. Undoubtedly, there are tensions between the two and it is very unlikely we will see them on friendly terms any time soon.
Niktokoffff, Winged Hussars: I think SS should rebrand themselves as Stinky Service
The Stinky Service, a name recommended by some community members, is what Nikto proposes SS rebrands to. Is it true that their leader stinks? Do they need to take more showers?
Anonymous 3: Ok, so, rumors are saying that the Church Of Aurora and Scars of Club Penguin are going to become brother allies. Furthermore, insiders say that the SCP has some internal beef due to 54x wanting to ban puffles and Coolgirl opposing his views!!!
If this is true, CPA could have some more exclusive news in this post. While the source of this rumour is unknown, we could see a brother alliance created soon! Whether or not we can believe the rumour is also unknown. However, with Scars being COA’s first ally, the rumours may be true. Additionally, if there is drama within Scars then could we see the army collapse soon? Or will yet another army leader be removed from CPA’s ranks?

Nish, Secret Service: The Templars Reported My Friend Dbsa For no Reason and Kicked Him With Him just saying ”Hello, I am from SS”
It seems as if the tensions are still high between the Templars and the Secret Service despite the joke by Logical. Nish claims that the Templars kicked his friend from their server. We managed to get a picture of the events that took place below:

Whilst the claim about being reported cannot be proven, what can be proven is that he had to rejoin the server. It is unknown whether or not the kick was by Elsa or if it was accidental. However, the tensions between the two armies have not simmered, and hatred still remains.
Not everything that has been said can be taken as fact. However, some of these statements/rumours may prove to be true. With the community looking into the eyes of the September drop, drama is bound to occur. Will a war break out between armies? Will the Water Vikings’ Leadership defy expectations? What are your thoughts?
