The Blizzard Battalion first opened on July 14. Their opening event seemed well-received, as they achieved a max of 21 penguins that were from different armies. At the time, Bilxo was the only leader in the army. They took part of the Beach Brawl IV tournament, in which they did not show up to the battle.
Bilxo, the leader of the Blizzard Battalion, announced their official shutdown on September 4. He mentioned that this is not their long-lasting close, as they might make a comeback soon. He also mentioned a point in his announcement that played a role in the closure. This is regarding the recent actions by his fellow leader. Club Penguin Armies tries to maintain a well-moderated and a safe place for all. But, some people tend to hide their actions that are buried within the past.
Additionally, Lumikase, who is a staff member in the Blizzard Battalion, mentioned that he was disappointed with the shutdown. He also believes that the staff members should be able to speak various languages, and for the army to provide the same events at a different time each day.

Lumikase’s statement
