Throughout August, we witnessed numerous wars that caused multiple shifts in the rankings. The Army of Club Penguin clinched the top spot after their 100+ war battles finally ended in their victory, moving up four spots. Right behind them are the Templars, who rose two spots after their ongoing war against the Help Force.

Meanwhile, the Elite Guardians dropped one spot overall compared to last month, though they were continuously fighting against the Clovers. Although the Help Force topped the rankings last month and were glorious with the Legends Cup XIV run, they dropped three spots, and faced few challenges later on internally within the army. As for the Rebel Penguin Federation, the army hosted their annual Summer Olympics, but, like HF, the Rebels fell by three spots. The Aliens continued hosting fun events through Club Penguin Journey and moved up one spot. As for the Secret Service, once their force treaty ended, the army decided to go to war. Their increased activity may have helped become a factor of moving them up one spot.

The People’s Imperial Confederation faced leadership changes throughout the month and as we can see they ended up dropping by one. The Special Weapons and Tactics remained in the same position. After being on lockdown, the Water Vikings made a return with leadership changes and participated in Beach Brawl IV. On the other hand, the Winged Hussars were engaged in war with the Secret service within this month ending with a peace treaty and attended Beach Brawl IV against the VIkings. Throughout this month compared to last, the Winged Hussars ended up dropping one spot.

In August, three new armies made it into the top ten: Scars of Club Penguin, Spartans, and Blizzard Battalion. Lastly, the Ice Warriors returned to the top ten as they celebrated their induction and Olympics ceremony.
