Announcement of Summer Olympics

The Rebel Penguin Federation announced their annual Summer Olympics on August 17. This year, the army decided on a High School Musical theme. The Rebels’ Summer Olympics were scheduled from August 18 through August 25.

Throughout the Olympics, the Rebels planned to create a variety of mini games and separate troops into three teams. The three teams were Team Duet, led by Ella and Moonlemur; Team Ensemble, led by Link3000; and Team Spotlight, led by Gabegeirl. Within these teams, members would compete against one another in different activities.

Olympic Week

The first day began with the Rebels logging onto CPBattleground in their capital, Tuxedo. The army members wore outfits that represented their teams. During this event, the RPF reached a maximum of 32 Rebels online.

On August 20, the Rebels then decided to hold a Card Jitsu tournament. The army had used CPJourney for their first tournament of the Summer Olympics. Within this event, the Rebels maxed 27. Throughout this event, the three teams ended up battling eachother of which Lawless from Team Ensemble won first place.

The next day, on August 20, RPF headed to the Dojo and held a Card Jitsu tournament. RPF ended up maxing 27 troops online. As for the Card Jitsu winner, Tesaurum from Team Ensemble had gotten first place.

On August 21, RPF held their last Card Jitsu tournament. The army ended up maxing 28. The winner of the final tournament was RaccoonMars from Team Duet.

On the second day, the Rebels hosted a Dance Contest tournament. Before the dance competition began, they performed a few formations and tactics. RPF reached a maximum of 27 online for this event. The dance battle’s first-place winner was Tomtombombomtimtamtamalam from Team Ensemble.

Afterwards, the army logged on again the same day on August 21 for a second round of the Dance Contest. This time, the Rebels maxed 22. When the dance contest ended, Link from Team Ensemble ended up winning first place.

Throughout the rest of the week, the Rebels held multiple tournaments, including Smoothie Smash, Catchin’ Waves, and Pizzatron. Meanwhile, they also hosted various other activities within their server.

The closing ceremony took place on August 25. During the event, the Rebels executed various formations and showcased their tactics. RPF reached a max of 32 troops online. Additionally, RPF officially announced that the winning team was Team Ensemble, led by Link 3000, with 474 points.

Final Thoughts

One thing about the Rebels that’s undeniable is their ability to host incredible Olympics events! RPF approached their events very demure and very mindful. Additionally, the Summer Olympics is a fantastic annual tradition for the Rebels to celebrate the end of summer. With all these activities and member engagement, it certainly boosts overall activity.
