Mabel’s Version: Ranking Army’s Uniforms

Having been in the community for around four years, I’ve witnessed the evolution of uniforms across various armies and formed my own opinions over time. My views on these uniforms have changed as I’ve spent more time here, but now I appreciate the uniqueness and diversity they offer. Some uniforms were inspired by older armies, but I will be focusing on the uniforms of modern-day armies and ranking them based on my own preferences.

Note: The contents of this post are not meant to be taken seriously, as I’m just a girl. This is a satire post that does not represent Club Penguin Armies’ views.

Throughout the years, one of the best things about creating an army is choosing its uniform. Being able to select different combinations from hats to glasses, shirts, and shoes is an exciting part of the journey. Having a uniform truly helps unify the troops in your army, embracing the colors, designs, and symbols that represent one’s army identity and spirit. Let’s explore my top favorite uniforms.

9. Special Agents and Tactics

Even though this uniform is ranked last, I like it. Before Club Penguin shut down, the army offered two uniform options for members and non-members. However, there’s not much uniqueness to the uniform. It consists of simple clothing pieces you could find in a single catalog. That said, I think the black and green mix helps them stand out in battles, so kudos to the design team for that.

8. Elite Guardians of Club Penguin

I didn’t remember the color of the penguin’s skin not being gray until I looked up the uniform, but this uniform is good at matching similar shades. I like how the hat and coat correspond to the white color of the penguin, which I always thought was gray, but I guess I was wrong. Other than that, this is a fairly good uniform, although it’s not something I see every day, so I don’t want to rank it strictly on that

7. People’s Imperial Confederation

The People’s Imperial Confederation went through many uniform changes since its creation is what I learned when looking up this uniform. The current uniform from their fifth edition on this uniform in their August 2020 revival was a major improvement. The uniform genuinely sticks to its name, with the colors relating well to the confederation.

6. Templars

In my opinion, I do like the choice of uniform they picked for the name. However, all the yellow is quite an eyesore, at least to me. If there were more black or red in the uniform, I feel I would have liked it a lot more, and it probably would have ranked higher. Despite that, they did choose pieces of clothing from the catalogs that I didn’t even know existed during the Club Penguin era, so kudos to them for that.

5. Secret Service

This uniform really sticks to the name, there isn’t too much going on with their uniform, and although it isn’t unique since it’s purely taken off the Agent Mascot from the original game, it sticks to it and they don’t add anything crazy like a Viking hat, or a wig to the top of their heads. Even a fedora could’ve probably made this feel more like ‘secret service’, but the uniform itself is pretty good for its name.

4. Help Force

I am noticing a big trend of blue in these uniforms, but for Help Force they make it stick out. The randomization of the outfits puts the entire uniform together which is what I think makes it unique compared to the past few uniforms I have ranked.

3. Water Vikings

This ranking might be a bit biased, as I’ve made my own adjustments to the uniform during battles. The combination of light blue, dark blue, and white really aligns well with the name. I’m amazed at how they found items with similar shades from different categories and made them look cohesive. Although the blue clashes with other armies in battles, this army often changes their uniform to avoid that, yet they never seem to have any trouble going out in style.

2. Rebel Penguin Federation

This uniform is very similar to the SWAT uniform, but the choice of clothing for the ‘Rebels’ really makes it stand out. It’s one of those uniforms I always enjoy seeing on the battlefield because the colors blend well with any other army they go up against. I appreciate the black scheme that armies pick when trying to appear ‘mysterious,’ even though it’s a bit overrated. However, the Rebels put it together well. Despite their uniforms, they’re a mysterious army to face since you never know what tricks they might have up those bandanas.

1. Army of Club Penguin

As one of the oldest armies in the community, their modern-day uniform makes them stick out in battles. There aren’t too many armies nowadays using green as their main color, and the fact that their name has ”army” sticks to the theme of the uniform too. The modern uniform is a perfect mix of items from other communities, but with the clovers, they do make it all mix in well together, even with the different tones of greens it mixes in perfectly. In my opinion, at least, the older uniform the Clovers used was far better than their modern one, but it was not a downgrade from here.

And this concludes my own opinion on modern-day Army uniforms. If anything offends you, it’s okay, it’s not meant to be taken that seriously anyway. Do you agree with my opinion, or can you think of any uniforms I may have left out?
