This past week has been filled with war, controversy and drama as tensions continue to rise between armies in and out of war.
On August 12, the Help Force did what many thought that they would not do and that was declare war. Before the war, the Help Force battled claims that they were not a warring army. Many community members would bring up the fact that they have not been involved in a one-on-one war for years. Understandably, these comments got under the skin of then-Help Force Leader ROOBOO, and he looked to prove them wrong
Help Force shocked the community by unexpectedly declaring war on the People’s Imperial Confederation. Consequently, this built up tension between the two armies as they geared up for war. The first battles took place on August 13 with both an invasion and defense for the Helpers taking place. Help Force won both of these battles, making their strength known. PIC did not back down and kept fighting the Helpers. With each battle, the stake heightened and the tensions rose.
On August 18, the Helpers and the Confederation signed a peace treaty, putting an end to the war…or so they thought. Despite a treaty being signed, it was invalidated by the Club Penguin Armies‘ Administration. Within the treaty, PIC agreed to transfer their nation to the Helpers. However, because this was a transfer of land via non-aggressive means, it was invalidated due to Help Force holding more than eight pieces of land.
Before the treaty was invalidated on August 18, another war was declared. Having seen their allies go to war, Templars declared war on Help Force almost immediately after the treaty was signed. Undoubtedly, this movement from the Templars was planned. However, after the treaty was invalidated, their war declaration was also invalidated. This saw the war between Help Force and PIC continue. Yet, before the night was over, the Confederation surrendered to Help Force. Following this, Templars, once again, declared war.
Due to the stop-start nature of the wars and the many discussions held, tensions heated up. The Help Force felt blindsided by the Templars’ declaration following the invalidated treaty but Templars also felt injustice due to the invalidation of their first war declaration.
Despite the previous invalidation of the war, their second declaration went through successfully. This declaration would see the Templars and Help Force officially go to war. Multiple battles have taken place and neither side shows any sign of slowing down. However, there was still one more matter to sort out before they could solely focus on Templars, their force treaty on PIC.
What seems like a simple matter, ended up being complex as the Help Force attempted to prevent anyone who participated in their war with PIC (for PIC) from attending for TCP. This would include members who have left PIC to join Templars or advisors who attended for PIC but went on to join Templars. The aforementioned term is below:
People’s Imperial Confederation cannot directly invade the Help Force or assist in battles or wars against them. Furthermore, no People’s Imperial Confederation member who was engaged in the war can assist, or attend any battle against the Help Force.
Unfortunately for the Helpers, this term is invalid because it restricted individual members instead of the opposition army itself. Ultimately, the Helpers had to readjust their terms before finally concluding their business with the Confederation on August 20.
Overall, it has been a busy week for the Help Force, who also went on to remove a leader from their position. Yet, despite all the challenges the Templars and Helpers are actively competing in a heated war. More than a handful of battles have already taken place with both sides picking up wins. Yet, it is unclear who will go on to win the war. Who do you think will win? Can the Help Force recover from this?
