The Legends Cup XIV started full of surprising and unexpected turnabouts. Last weekend, the community witnessed four exciting battles, with only four of the eight armies remaining in the Winner’s Bracket. Nonetheless, the losing four armies are still battling for a chance to reach the coveted Grand Finals.
Army of Club Penguin vs. Special Weapons and Tactics
The Army of Club Penguin and the Special Weapons and Tactics are no strangers to one another. They have fought against each other numerous times – both in the Club Penguin era and in the Private Servers era. Given this is a battle between a Major army and a Small/Medium, the outcome may be easy to predict.
ACP vs. SWAT a few years ago
JevTheJester, Moderator: ACPis going to win against SWAT 3-0-0. This is because ACP is the bigger army of the two, and SWAT doesn’t max a lot. As much as I like SWAT, sorry, ACP wins.
Lunita, Senior Reporter: I believe this will likely end in complete victory of ACP. Swat has been lacking for a while now, while ACP is coming performing well consistently. That combined with ACPs experience with walfare should result in clear victory for them.
Mogi4, Head YouTuber: Definitely an ACP win. ACP maxed 38 in Round One and SWAT maxed 8. ACP is the bigger and better army no doubt. ACP 3-0-0
Tulip, Rebel Penguin Federation: 3-0-0 ACP. I feel like ACP will have a 3-0 sweep because ACP has been maxing really well during legends cup (like almost 50) and SWAT’s max has been pretty low imo, and I feel like ACP’s speed and creativity will dominate throughout the semis, sorry SWAT but I feel like ACP is gonna sweep 🙁
JoelFreak, Squids Leader: SWATsweep ACP because they will have some major comeback out of nowhere and become the best army in cpa and then Krill300 will bevome a cp army legend and become the ronaldo and messi combined of cpa and becomes the goat.
Feliks, Elite Guardians: ACP 3×0 SWAT. Despite ACP’s decline in perfomance, when dealing with SWAT, anyone can win.
People’s Imperial Confederation vs. Templars
Ironically, we now see the Confederation rise to the Major classification, while the Templars still fall in the Small/Medium zone. These two allies will undoubtedly give their all to avoid elimination in a very heated battle. Considering both maxed around the same sizes mid-battle, it is indeed going to be an intriguing match.
TCP vs. RPF last round
JevTheJester, Moderator: TCPis more-an-likely gonna win because despite TCP falling down to PICs level due to becoming S/M, TCP still maxes a lot during big events.
Lunita, Senior Reporter: I believe that this might go into overtime. Both armies have stepped it up this year. Both have came incredibly far compared to last year. PIC managed to even climb into major several times, and they are now consistently getting good sizes. While TCP managed to battle Water Vikings eye for eye. Therefore I believe that this battle might be incredibly close. Despite that I believe that PICwill eventually secure the win. Their performance has been great lately, and they are more than skilled enough to potentionally outmaneuver TCP.
Mogi4, Head YouTuber: Well TCP recently fell to S/M and PiC rose to major, so we can kind of see the armies recent activity. In round one PiC had around 15 troops and Templars 20. I think this will be a pretty close battle but resulting in a TCPwin 2-1-1
Tulip, Rebel Penguin Federation: 2-1-0 PIC. After seeing TCP lower back down to s/m status, I felt a little concerned about their performance in round 1 because of their maxes being lower than usual, but I feel like they can get more people in during semis. PIC has been maxing pretty well since they reached major status, and I feel like their speed and creativity is pretty similar, so honestly I feel like it depends on their forms and their size. I feel like PIC would win this round, but it depends on how they perform with the templars.
JoelFreak, Squids Leader:PICto beat tcp because we saw in the swat war, without allies tcp maxxed the same.
Feliks, Elite Guardians: TCP 1X2 PIC. PIC has become a force powerful enough to challenge even the “Big Boys”, which we all know TCP is no longer part of. I believe that if PIC puts their minds in it like they did during the WC, they will triumph.
From the responses above, we can infer that the predictions are leaning toward the Clovers and the Confederates. However, the second battle is undoubtedly the closest of the two. Nonetheless, it is safe to assume no army is willing to relinquish the trophy so easily. Do you think we will see SWAT pulling a huge comeback? Will the Templars be able to surprise the community?
