Golden Victory: Templars Enforce Force Treaty on SWAT

After almost three weeks of incessant confront, the Templars finally made their way into Outback, the Special Weapons capital. Winning nine battles in a row and capturing their opponent’s motherland, the Knights issued a force treaty against them.

On June 9th, the Templars launched their crusade against the Special Weapons and Tactics, under allegations of the Agents aiming to attack their allies, the Dark Pirates. Furthermore, Templar Grand Prior Sidie9 also mentioned the need for her army to expand its empire across the newly-launched server map – and SWAT was a target.

The first battle of the war would take place on the following day, June 10th. However, the Agents decided not to show up, virtually allowing the Knights to take control of Blizzard. This would become an unfortunate pattern across the almost three weeks of war.

Invasion of Cozy, June 16th.

Out of nine battles, SWAT only managed to attend four of them, being the other five no-shows. Because of that, the Templars found little resistance, and, thus, successfully invaded all of their land. Yesterday, June 27th, the Knights invaded Outback, SWAT’s capital. Surprisingly, the Agents also did not show up to defend their capital.

Since the Knights had cleared SWAT from the map, it was time for a force treaty to be issued. Therefore, on the same day, the Templars’ leadership published the treaty, named The Blizzard Protocols. Marking the official end of the Crusade against SWAT, it states TCP as the winner of the war, with a score of 9-0-0 [W-T-L]. Moreover, some terms regarding land transference in case of term breakage were also included.

Club Penguin Armies reached out to Sidie9, and Fun X Time, SWAT’s leader, to understand their perspectives on the matter.

What are your impressions of the conflict, now that it ended?

Fun X Time, SWAT Leader: I already had my say in this, but I shall restate; the Templars helping a dead and decaying ally named the Dark Pirates is ironically stupid. This war has not left bruises on our history considering how irrelevant it will be in our future. No one is interested in learning about a war where a major army declared war on a small-medium army. However, we are certainly pleased to see that the Templars fell to the small-medium army category, being unable to gain momentum at all from this war.

Sidie9, TCP Leader: If their three failed invasions of Blizzard didn’t demonstrate it enough, the Special Weapons in Tactics have been humiliated and are in shambles. I heard some talk from spectators about how it was unfair that a Major army declared war on a Small/Medium one, but this war was necessary for both sides. Though SWAT may not have dignity, they were at many points a serious contender in this community. This war needs to serve as a wake-up call to SWAT, as they will not have an army for much longer if current trends continue. Our crusade will be a permanent scar on their history, and it should serve as a reminder to SWAT if they ever consider meddling in the affairs of the Templars or its allies again.

Do you believe the Templars managed to achieve everything they wanted to with this war?

Sidie9, TCP Leader: I believe so. We’ve demonstrated ourselves to be competent and back on the path of recovering from our leadership changes. SWAT is neutralized, we have expanded our empire and we successfully protected our Dark Pirates allies. The Grand Priors are definitely pleased with the outcome.

Do you believe SWAT will be able to recover their land anytime soon?

Fun X Time, SWAT Leader: SWAT should be able to easily recover their land at a later date. It is not a difficult task, and we have already built up plans for such a situation. We did not prioritize this war because we were quite concerned about ourselves winning. Instead, we used this precious time to improve ourselves, foreseeing several victories against the Templars in the future. Sidie9, an inexperienced leader who had assumed we were wasting time and resources, has been proven wrong.

What can the community expect from your army from now on?

Fun X Time, SWAT Leader: The army community can expect better performance from SWAT in the future. During and after Legends Cup XIV, we shall certainly focus on implementing a better system for ourselves, both in administration and in performance at events. We are already working to make these changes possible, so it is quite likely that the community will find SWAT at greater heights. After a few internal changes, we strongly believe in significant growth over the coming months. SWAT’s fifteenth anniversary is approaching, and SWAT troops are feeling rejuvenated. Meanwhile, the army community seems to be excited, too!

Sidie9, TCP Leader: We’re taking Legends Cup XIV incredibly serious and are hoping to be a genuine contender. Having just maxed 24 at the Invasion of Outback, we are on track to rebuild our great nation. Though we may not emulate the results displayed during Xing’s High Era, expect the Templars to become a force to be reckoned with once more.

It is clear that the Templars consider this move of them to be successful. They managed to annex six more servers to their nation, also accomplishing the feat they promised at the beginning of the war. On the other hand, SWAT did not let their heads go down. They are confident their performance can be improved in the following months. What are your thoughts on this war? Do you believe we will see both armies facing each other again in the near future?
