A new army emerged from the seas of dormancy. Returning for a second generation, the Squids are now back in town ready for new adventures. What can the community expect from the army?

The Squids were created in 2020 by JoelFreak, Ugly, and Pranav. Around April and May on Club Penguin Online, these three came across an army named Aliens of CPO, being enlisted in it. However, the concept of Squids came off as a meme, as they willingly attended an Aliens event and did not wear the uniform. Rather, they were wearing the space squid costume. During this event, Joel decided to create an army named after the costume, inviting his colleagues to co-lead it.

Surprisingly, the trio managed to pull good sizes of 30+ with rogue events, reaching around 62 squids online at their peak. Sometime later, the Squids went on to war against the Saber Squids, an army led by Alucard and Krosive. They had thought the Saber Squids had stolen their name and, thus, declared on SS. Reportedly, the Squids have not lost a single battle or room in this war. However, with the fall of Club Penguin Online, the army came to an end.
A Squids Rogue Event in 2020
After four years of dormancy, Joel, alongside Toxic Storm, and Monstah, deliberated it was time to bring the army back for a second generation. On June 13th, they successfully met the requirements to register in the league, maxing 10 on their re-opening event. Promising to shake the Small/Medium army scenario, they quickly allied with the Special Weapons and Tactics and the Protectors of The Forest. Their latest event had 21 troops online, with many people from the outside coming to their support.

What motivated you to bring back Squids?
It was a fun idea me and td99 wanted to do and we did it. Ofcours we wanted some motivation to do it, so after watching some David Gogins and Nike Ads, and drinking alot of energy drinks. We opened squids. we were also hungry figuratively and literally, because it was lunch/ dinner time for some of us. So yh that’s how it is 🦑
After this insightful response, what are your plans for the future?
Spam squid gifs, make some noise, have fun with friends and annoy Ninja leader and POF. They really hate the sea apparently smh
Are you confident that the Squids will become a powerful S/M army?
Yes, Squids are the best food on the menu in all restaurants, ofcourse that will also mean we will be a strong S/M army EZ.
