As March Madness draws near, the Penguins of Madagascar witness a new addition to their leadership as Mocha joins the ranks of the army as Skipper. Besides her induction, several veterans have returned to the army as Higher Command and Staff, and the army has also welcomed new people to their team, recently.

On the 22nd of February, sometime back, Mocha rejoined the Penguins of Madagascar, this time as a leader, giving the army their fifth Skipper. Rye Bread, one of the creators and current leaders of the army made an official announcement about the same stating how determined and tenacious, Mocha is, and that she would make a great addition to their team. Following this, Rye went on to welcome four of the army’s veterans – Logical, Extremnistt, Water, and Znation back on their staff team, and before this, has also announced Aisha joining the army as a Third in Command. In their preparation for the upcoming tournament, the Penguins of Madagascar seem driven and motivated to give their best not just during the time of March Madness, but also prior to it.

Rye’s announcement regarding Mocha’s induction as Skipper, and further Staff additions to the army

Mocha joined the army community on December 22nd, in the year 2022 after enlisting herself in the Dark Vikings. She spent almost 10 months there, and with her hard work, made it to Head Admiral, a Higher Command Rank within the army, before she decided to leave the Vikings. Following this, she joined Penguins of Madagascar on the 14th of October in 2023 and was given the rank of Kowalski, which denotes Second in Command in the army. After three months, she went on to join the Templars on the 29th of December where she was assigned the role of Leader in Training and helped the army during the Christmas Crusade, before she made the call to leave the Knights to once again join the Penguins of Madagascar, on February 21st this year, this time as their Skipper.

Club Penguin Armies had the opportunity to talk to Mocha and learn more about her thoughts on becoming a leader and her plans.

What is the reason behind joining the Penguins of Madagascar as a Leader?

The reason behind me joining POM as a leader was that members of POM have been wanting me back for some time now even leaders pingo, rye, and logical even though it was a tough decision I did decide that it was time for me to return to an army I love.

How does it feel to be a Leader of an army?

It’s exciting and I do hope that I’m able to lead POM to success alongside Pingo and Rye.

What are your future plans for the army as a Leader?

My future plans for the army would be to get higher maxes, to get higher than 9 or 10 on the Top Ten also I would like to try and get pom to a major status one day.

What are some of the learning experiences you have had that you would like to incorporate within this army?

With what I’ve learned I’d like to incorporate many ways with recruiting and include fun events which would definitely bring more activity in our main chat.

Could you share your favorite memory/memories from the time you have been in this army community if it’s not too personal?

Some of my favorite memories is when I became a Judge along with a reporter in training another favorite memory was the Christmas Crusade War against EGCP.

This is your first run as a Leader. What are you looking forward to the most?

I’m looking forward to seeing this army rise and become successful.

Where do you see this army going in about a few months from now?

I see this army improving a lot it may not be major but I do see this army growing and getting better maxes through the months.

It’s always exciting to see a new person take the helm as a Commander of an army. Mocha seems all set to take on her role as Skipper and lead the army to glory. We wish her and the Penguins of Madagascar, the very best in all of their future endeavors.
