The first edition of Trick or Treat Trials is set to take place this Saturday. With armies across the community highly anticipating this upcoming tournament, who are the favourites for the coming challenge?
The Trick or Treat Trials is a two-day tournament taking place in CPA Battleground on October 21st, with the Grand Finals happening the following week on October 28th. Based upon the rules, each army must do their best to achieve dominance. You can find all the rules and information about the tournament in the Tournament Information post.
The participating armies are the following:
- Army of Club Penguin
- Elite Guardians of Club Penguin
- Help Force
- Templars
- Special Weapons and Tactics
- People’s Imperial Confederation
- Penguins of Madagascar
The Trick or Treat Trials is a highly anticipated competition involving all armies, featuring a unique twist to add an element of excitement. The participating armies will be ranked based on their accumulated points at the conclusion of the trials. The two leading armies will earn a place in the grand finals, from which a winner will be chosen after a standard battle,
Club Penguin Armies has reached out to multiple community members to find out who they think will advance to the final.
Who do you think will reach the Trick or Treat finals, and why?
Mchappy, Chief Executive Producer: Considering this is a unique tournament with a new format, I believe it could be anyone’s game. It’ll especially be interesting to see if one army pulls ahead in points because they were the only ones to show up to the room, giving them an automatic +5 points. However, if we are solely talking about size, then I foresee the Army of Club Penguin and Elite Guardians during this out. Depending on what strategy they use in the Trials, we could see both of them in the Grand Finals; a rematch to their Legends Cup match.
Superhero, CPAB Administrator: ACP and EGCP imo. They are two of the best performing armies currently and they have a long successful history in tournament participations, plus big veteran networks.
It seems the community strongly believes that both the ACP and EGCP will make it to the grand finals. The two armies have been on a good streak following their Legends Cup runs, proving to be strong contenders. Now that we know how the community predicts the first round, it is only a matter of time to see if the expectations meet the reality. Who do you think will make it to the finals?
