Shortly after Snowflake announced her retirement from the army, the Dark Vikings witnessed two new leaders joining the leadership, MtJordan and Tribal.
A few days back, a leadership change occurred at the Dark Vikings. With Snowflake stepping down from her position, MtJordan and Tribal were promoted as the new leaders of the army. Krosive, the creator of Dark Vikings, made an official announcement about the promotions, commending them for their hard work and dedication towards the army.
Snowflake joined the army community in June 2022, her first army being Lime Green Army. She soon moved to the Cherries a month later and was a part of them until the army shut down. After Cherries closed, she enlisted herself in the Dark Vikings on October 3rd. In her new army, she was able to quickly climb through the ranks and made it to Leader in Training in February 2023. Her promotion to Leader came towards the end of April, wherein she joined the leadership of the army alongside Thunder and Krosive. Under her leadership, the army not only fought against the Sapphire Concordat Alliance which consisted of five S/M armies, but also took part in the AUSIA Arena: Summer Edition in the month of May. After leading the army for almost three months, she decided to retire from her position, bidding farewell to the army.
MtJordan joined the army community back in November 2011, his first army being Snow Ninjas. He was a part of the army during its 2nd generation. After spending years in the army, he retired in 2014 as a Jounin Ninja, the 2nd/ 3rd highest staff rank. In July 2020, he made a return to the community, enlisting in the Ice Warriors. However, he left the army as a Head General. This was the highest troop rank in the army. It was in March 2023 that he came across Dark Vikings and decided to remain with them since.
Tribal was recruited into the Dark Vikings on October 13th, 2022. He has been a part of this generation of the army since its very inception, staying with them through their ups and downs. Both he and MtJordan have worked hard within the army to get where they are today, and this promotion is well deserved. Undoubtedly, they will continue working hard to further help the army.
Club Penguin Armies reached out to all three of them to know their thoughts and future plans. We had the opportunity to interview the two new leaders. However, Snowflake, unfortunately, did not wish to give an interview regarding her retirement.
How does it feel to be a Leader of an army?
MtJordan: Being a leader is a tremendously rewarding experience because it allows you to coordinate events, supervise various responsibilities, and create plenty of other tasks that contribute to the overall success. It feels so good.
Tribal: I feel great, I’ve been in the army since the opening of this generation.
What are your future plans for the army as a Leader?
MtJordan: My ambitions focus on improving the capabilities and effectiveness of the DV army, with the goal of transforming it into a more formidable and efficient army and fixing the mistakes that we make.
Tribal: To have some fun.
Given that you have been a Leader in Training in the army for some time, what are some of the learning experiences you have had that you would like to incorporate within the army?
MtJordan: Throughout my Leader in Training (LIT) sessions, I learned valuable skills in event organization as well as effectively managing reminders, among other important aspects.
Tribal: I’m not too sure what you mean by that.
Can you share your favorite memory/memories of the army, if it’s not too personal?
MtJordan: We were nicked as “jamal” for fun and beefing in VC.
Tribal: My favorite memory is when we had 500 members, it was us against the world type of deal.
If you could name one thing that you look forward to as a leader, what would it be?
MtJordan: In order to create a better DV, I am committed to making significant improvements and positive transformations in all aspects of what it does. That’s my only goal.
Tribal: It would be, training troops.
Where do you see the army going in about a year’s time from now?
MtJordan: As the CPA community might know our past, we’ve done pretty horrible things. But that doesn’t mean we don’t have a chance to change ourselves. This time we’re fixing our past and making DV better. As of right now, we’re performing pretty well. I have a good feeling that the army’s future will be better.
Tribal: Dark Vikings is one of the growing armies, I think we would have many active troops and a permanent spot in 1st place top ten.
Even though Snowflake has retired, MtJordan and Tribal are determined to make the army better under their leadership. We look forward to seeing how the Dark Vikings perform under their reign. Club Penguin Armies wishes all of them and the Dark Vikings, the very best in all of their future endeavours.
