KLONDIKE, CP Army Headquarters – After having ended their war with Wet Army Penguins, the Trojans welcome three new people to their leadership. What led to this decision, and what can we expect from the new leaders?
On the 28th of October, Ivy, the founder and one of the current leaders of Trojans announced that three individuals – Izuno, Tasty, and Villa would be joining alongside her to lead Trojans. She made an official announcement in the army’s discord server congratulating the three of them and stating how much they had done for the army.
Izuno joined the army community back in 2012, by being enlisted into the Dark Warriors. She has served as a Fourth in Command, in both Ice Warriors and the Underground Mafias. Apart from being in these armies, she has also been a part of the Templars and the Light Troops for a while. More recently, she was a leader at Doritos, and has received Honorary Shield for her commitment and hard work towards the army. One can get to know more about her and who she is as a person, through this post, in the Trojans’ website where she not only talks about her hobbies, but also mentions her plans for the Trojans and why she decided to join Club Penguin Armies in the first place.
TastyPantaloon, better known as Tasty, joined armies in early January of 2021. He was recruited into the Recon Federation of Club Penguin (RFCP) and ranked up to Ice Corporal there before leaving. After leaving RFCP, he enlisted within the ranks of Rebel Penguin Federation, before joining the Army of Club Penguin on the 6th of March, where he attained the rank of Brigadier General. On June 8th after he disembarked from ACP, he enlisted in Magma Clan and reached the rank of Seventh in Command, before leaving the Clan to lead Medieval Warriors. On the 23rd of June, Tasty decided to join the Templars and reached the position of Heraldry Officer before leaving. In late July, he decided to revive an old army, the Skateboarders along with Ivy, before the army shut down again. This is when he joined the Trojans, as led and created by Ivy, ans has been with them ever since.
Villa joined the army community back in Decemeber 2020, by being enlisted into the Underground Mafias Army. When the army shut down, he joined the Doritos in April 2021, where he worked his way up to the ranks to eventually get Staff. He has served as an Advisor in both the Wet Army Penguins as well as the Trojans, before joining the Trojans as a Second in Command, and eventually getting promoted to the position of Leader. Apart from the Trojans, he is currently Fourth in Command at Water Vikings, and has been an active part of the army community since his joining.
CPAHQ had the oppurtunity to speak to Izuno, and Villa about their thoughts on the promotion, and their future plans for the army. Unfortunately, Tasty did not respond to us, and hence we could not get an interview with him.
How does it feel to be a Leader of an army?
Izuno: It feels amazing to be a leader. I don’t know if I’m the only one, but I like being in control over a group of people. It allows me to mentor them to be better versions of themselves and make them feel like they’re a part of a community. It always makes me feel better about myself. I’ve had previous experience leading other armies before, but this is the first time I’ve led an army in a while.
Villa: it’s just amazing to see how far i’ve gotten in here, i joined cpa not really thinking about it and now I’m leader of an army. proud of myself of how far i’ve gone.
Could you tell me a bit about your future plans for the army?
Izuno: I plan to push staff to their limits in terms of recruiting and taking initiative. Taking initiative in an army is very important, especially if you have plans to become an HCOM member or leader. I wish to lead Trojans into success, obtaining the Major army status in the process and wrecking any opposition in the way. Considering we’re all working very hard to reach 1,000 members, we’ll reach our full potential soon. We just need to keep in mind that Rome wasn’t built over night, and not let losses of any kind demotivate us.
Villa: One of my main plans for the army is just to make it grow in general, even tho I haven’t been in armies for that much I have a lot of experience recruiting, scheduling events, and managing a staff team, I’ve done it outside of cpa before. I want to keep trojans in the top 10 armies all the time as well, so that’s gonna be fun, try and get the server to 1000 members as well, and we’re gonna work our asses off and get Trojans the Major Army Status.
Can you share your favorite memory or memories of the army with me, if it’s not too personal?
Izuno: Honestly, my favorite memory of the army thus far is the first staff meeting I’ve ever attended. It was funny as hell, despite me and Villa getting scolded immediately after saying some of the things we said. It wasn’t anything too bad, but we were hyper that evening and it drove us to not act serious during the meeting. It was worth it though, we’ve established a lighter tone in the meetings and shown that none of us take a penguin army too seriously. If it was a mandatory meeting or emergency, we would’ve acted more professional.
Villa: yeah I’m sure I can if I had to choose one it would definitely be a bunch of days ago when we bodied WAP in our latest battle, I have to admit I had never seen 4207b lead, there’s nothing like it, also another funny screenshot of the war, for context, legoman was leading for WAP –
If you could name one thing that you look forward to as a Leader, what would it be?
Izuno: I look forward to seeing all these individuals in our army become the greatest versions of themselves. I want them to see that they’re amazing and that they can do anything as long as they put their mind to it. I want them to feel included and as if they’re a part of a family. I look forward to seeing people at our events and them wanting to step up and do things for their communities. I want to see people go out there and do great things in the world. I don’t know if that sounds too wholesome, but yeah 🙂
Villa: It would definitely be making the army grow, and no I’m not just saying, recruit and tell people to attend events, what I mean by that is having people WANT to attend the events, have them tell us to host more events, that’s what I want to see, I want to see the army not only as a community but as more of a big family
